Student organizations and campus departments are allowed to make a reservation for a "rain site location" inside one of the Missouri Student Unions facilities if they are hosting an event outside. The sponsoring organization must identify that the space is a "rain site" in their original request or reservation and must follow all of the Unions policies. If the request is for a "rain site" the Unions will allow the rain site location to be cancelled by 3 PM the day prior to the event. This is a special accommodation that the Unions allows as the weather is unpredictable. If at all possible, please call the Event Management Office (573-884-8793) 12 hours before the event to confirm that the rain site will be used. If the reserved spaced has already been set, the room fees will be charged. All other reservation MUST be cancelled within 48 hours of the event to not incur a cancellation/no-show fee.
