Ballroom, Alumni-Faculty Lounge and Wrench Auditorium

General Guidelines:

  • If proposed events pose any facility concerns, the reservation request will not be accepted.
  • These spaces may not be reserved on a weekly basis for an entire semester without special permission from the Unions Administration.
  • Absolutely no taping, pinning or hanging from the walls, ceiling, framing, columns or staging. The Unions reserves the right to charge for cleaning or damage to return the area to its original condition.

Bengal Lair

The Bengal Lair is a multi-purpose dining/programming space with a permanent stage, backdrop and sound system. Reservations will be limited to times when events will not interfere with heavy food service (lunch during the academic year and other special events). Groups reserving the Bengal Lair are responsible for returning table and chairs to original set-up at the completion of their event.

All amplified sound in the room must be kept at acceptable levels (please refer to the Unions Amplification Equipment Policy). Anyone in excess of these levels will be asked to bring their activity into acceptable sounds levels. If the problem continues, a group may be asked to leave the premises.

Alumni/Faculty Lounge

The type of event request must be consistent with the formal nature of the room.

Leadership Lounge

The Leadership Lounge is primarily used as a soft-seating space for student study and campus community interaction. With special permission from the Unions Administration it can be reserved to host an event.

  • Permanent furniture will not be moved
  • Additional tables and chairs are limited to what is available on-site
  • Access to the exits, the Center for Student Involvement, Restrooms and Chamber Auditorium must be maintained through the duration of hosted event.

Stotler Lounge

Stotler Lounge is a multi-purpose room that can be used as a lounge or host an event. It is a LARGE meeting room facility and is most often kept available for parties of 150 or more to reserve as one entire area for special one-time events.

  • Events restricted to 150 people or more
  • Dance floor needed for dance/parties

Chamber Auditorium

The Chamber Auditorium is a 120 fixed seat multi-functional space with integrated audio-visual controls and capabilities. Reservation priority is given to University recognized student governments i.e. MSA, GPC, LBC, RHA, IFC, PHA, NPHC, MCGC, etc.

Wrench Auditorium

Jesse Wrench Auditorium is a 222 fixed seat multi-functional space with integrated audio-visual controls and capabilities. The film projector located in the projection booth is only to be used with the permission of MSA.

Auditorium Restrictions:

  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Auditoriums without special permission from Unions Administration.
  • The Unions requests groups wishing to use any audio/visual equipment contact the Guest Services Desk for A/V operating instructions or setup.
  • No amplified equipment/musical instruments may be used through the sound system.
