Requests to schedule classes within the Unions should be directed to the University Registrar’s Office at ourschedule@missouri.edu. The Registrar’s Office handles day time scheduling of classrooms when school is in session. Note: Request to schedule Unions facilities for classes is for short term use only and not for an entire semester. Exceptions to this policy will be made based on the needs of the University and availability of space in the Missouri Student Unions.
Rules
The Unions reserve the right to deny use of our facilities for a class that requires special equipment or uses chemicals, open flames, water, refrigeration, animals, plants or food.
Suspending material from the ceiling or light fixtures is prohibited, as are decorations, displays or exhibits that require flame or water. The use of tape, glue, thumbtacks or adhesive on the walls, ceilings, frames, columns, or staging for attaching any materials is not permitted unless special permission has been obtained from the Unions Administration.
Tape and thumbtacks are only allowed in rooms with tackable walls. These rooms include S203-207 in the Memorial Student Union as well as 2205 & 2206 in the MU Student Center.
Pictures and display may not be removed from the walls. Non-moveable furniture (couches and chairs) are not to be relocated. A reset fee will be charged if wall hangings and furniture are moved.
The Unions reserve the right to charge for cleaning the area to return it to a condition adequate for continued use by other groups.
The Unions does not assume responsibility for damage to or loss of any materials or equipment left in the building.
